Rivería Smacks 5 Hits for Rebels Saturday, August 14th, 2027 The Boston Rebels stopped the Nassau Rockets by a score of 14-7 at Nassau Grounds today, with the lion's share of the credit going to left fielder Miguel Rivería. The 26-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Rivería said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Rivería did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Rockets. "Not much that I can say," offered Nassau manager Juan López. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Miguel Rivería walked in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 9th and singled in the 10th.
