Gang Green, Jackson Deal Marshals 4-0 Setback
|
Frank Jackson pitched a masterpiece in leading Irvine to a 4-0 victory over the Houston Marshals. Mike Fisher earned his 10th save in 12 tries. The Gang Green, at 37-28, lead by one game in their division.
Jackson, who leaned on his fastball, allowed no runs on just 2 hits over 8 innings for the Gang Green. For the most part, Houston hitters were simply overmatched.
"I like to lead by example," said Jackson. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."
