Bandits Rally to Eke Out Win
|
Behind the bravura of center fielder Cory Foster, the San Francisco Bandits topped the Orlando Calrissian by the score of 7-6. Foster went 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Bandits. The Bandits are off to a tough start, getting just their 3rd win in 8 games.
Ramón Ruíz had the most critical at-bat for San Francisco. With two in the top of the tenth inning, Ruíz hit a 2-2 fastball from Dave Heath for a run-scoring double. It put San Francisco in front, 7-6.
"Anything I can do to help the team win," said Ruíz.
