Niagara Falls starter Tom Moore put a stranglehold on the Maui offense. The right-hander had complete command of his forkball in leading the Frenzy to a 5-1 win. Niagara Falls is 31-30 and Maui, with the loss, 28-33.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Edmund Fitzgerald Field crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Niagara Falls skipper John Leach.
