Mann Superb Against Cincinnati
|
Cincinnati dropped a 7-0 shutout to Jeff Mann and the Lee's Summit Tigers at Pride Field today. The Pride offered little resistance to Mann, who stopped them on 1 hit, fanned 11 and walked 2.
"It just felt right today," the right-handed Mann told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm."
Mann has posted a 2-1 record for the year with a 4.30 ERA. Teams are hitting .200 against him and he has rung up 30 strikeouts in 23 innings.
