Hitmen Fall to .500 After Loss to Pikes
|
Though he had a great game, Lonson Seals could not single-handedly produce a win for Hendersonville. Seattle won the game, 4-2. Seals was named the player of the game. He was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. Cristián Escobar recorded his 14th save for Seattle. The Pikes own a robust 29-17 mark.
António Ortega put Seattle in front, 4-1, when he hit a 2-run home run off Yong-hoon Park in the bottom of the fifth. It was his 13th home run of the season.
Hendersonville manager César Martínez said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
