Rockets Bang Out 9-5 Win Versus Boston
The Nassau Rockets beat the Boston Rebels, 9-5, at Fenway Park. The Rockets got a fine performance from second baseman Howard Parker, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3 for 5 with 3 doubles and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Nassau reliever Nolan Baker was credited with the win, to go to 3-3. Chad Field took the loss for Boston. Dennis Taylor locked down his 2nd save.

Andrew Alvarado came through for Nassau in the top of the fifth. With no one out, Alvarado victimized Ki-tong Shiu with a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put Nassau on top, 7-4.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Alvarado told the Nassau Observer.

Nassau is third in the National League Southern Division with a record of 19-20.
