Los Cabos right-hander Dillon Nelson helped his team edge Niagara Falls by the score of 3-2. Nelson kept the opposing lineup in check. Reliever Santiago González picked up the win. His record improves to 2-2. Mark Head took the loss. The last-place Cartel raised their record to 12-25.

Los Cabos took a 3-2 lead on Stephen Wilson's 31st hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Wilson hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Niagara Falls pitcher Mark Head visibly frustrated.

Wilson said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
