The Pocatello Boccabellas got production from their entire lineup in an easy 13-1 win over the Austin River Sharks. Player of the game honors went to catcher Nick Cox. Cox, the 26 overall pick in the 2023 draft, was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. The Boccabellas raised their record to 19-9.

Pocatello took a 4-1 lead on Tomás Carranza's 10th hit of the season. The 2-run single, which Carranza hit in the top of the seventh, left Austin pitcher Jim Hendon shaking his head.

"We got our butts kicked," said Austin manager Dave Anderson.
