|
Pocatello rode a decent outing from starter Kevin Bush to victory over the Austin River Sharks at Greendale Community Field. The final score was 6-3. Bush got the win, improving to 5-0. He allowed 8 hits and walked 0 over 8 innings. Bush allowed 3 earned runs. Adrián Martínez recorded his 8th save for Pocatello.
Pocatello took a 4-3 lead on Tomás Carranza's 6th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Carranza hit in the top of the ninth, left Austin pitcher António Bueno visibly frustrated.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Bush said.
The win pushes Pocatello to a record of 17-9.
