Rockets Walk It Off for 10th Win of Season
The Nassau Rockets defeated the Vista Panthers, 8-7, in 12 innings. Bob Martin led the way, going 2-for-5 for Nassau. Nassau reliever Juan Franco picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. José Betancourt took the loss. The Panthers fall to 8-11 and continue their uneven start to the 2027 season.

Nassau won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With one out and José Betancourt on the mound for Vista, shortstop Salvador Borbón hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Rockets fans to their feet.

"We had a chance to win," said Vista manager Tim Fulgham, "but we didn't get it done."
