Hill Hands Birmingham 1-0 Loss
|
The Seattle Pikes got a magnificent effort from pitcher David Hill, who kept Birmingham hitters in check en route to a 1-0 Pikes win at The Ballpark at Sloss Furnace. With the loss, Birmingham sinks to 3-16.
Hill worked his mojo for Seattle. The hard-throwing left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8.2 innings of work.
"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Hill.
