Rockets Stumble, Lose to Rocks
The first-place Plymouth Rocks picked up another win at Play Rocks Field.

Riding the 3-hit performance of the 29-year old left fielder Wilbert Rodgers, the Plymouth Rocks stopped the Nassau Rockets, 8-2. José López, credited with the win, is now 15-7. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits in 5 innings.

Taylor McFarland was a key contributor to the win for the Rocks. In the bottom of the second with one out, the light-hitting shortstop stroked a single to left. He went 1 for 3 with a walk.

"We'll keep our chins up and get ready for the next game," said losing manager Juan López.

Plymouth has now won 5 in a row.
