King 'Lights Out' in So Cal Win
|
The So Cal Henvy topped the San Francisco Bandits, 5-1, in National League action at Bay View Park. The player of the game was So Cal pitcher Jeffrey King. The Henvy, now 2-0, have hit the ground running this season.
King subdued the San Francisco offense. The So Cal right-hander allowed a mere 4 hits over 8 innings, while fanning 11. His season record goes to 1-0 with the win.
"We're in a marathon, not a sprint," said King. "But I like how we're playing right now."
