The Pocatello Boccabellas and Los Cabos Cartel completed their game despite the inclement weather.
The exploits of center fielder Jeremy Carr, who is rated as the 2nd best prospect by BNN, helped the Pocatello Boccabellas defeat the Los Cabos Cartel, 7-2. Carr went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Martín Ramírez was the winner. Over 7 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 2 strikeouts.
Jim Jensen made an early impact for Pocatello when he stroked his 17th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which came with one out in the bottom of the second, put the Boccabellas on top, 2-1.
"I felt good up there," said Jensen. "I saw the ball well."
The Cartel fall to 5-10 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2027 season.
