Niagara Falls Frenzy starter Ed Jones was in fine form against the Baffin Island Beavers at Edmund Fitzgerald Field, leading his team to a 7-3 win. At 64-75, the Frenzy find themselves in third place in the National League Eastern Division.
Ángel Hinojosa's at-bat in the bottom of the sixth was significant for the Frenzy. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Niagara Falls leading 1-0, the shortstop hit a bases-clearing double.
In postgame comments to the Niagara Falls Times, Hinojosa said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
