Late Rally by Frenzy Secures Win
|
Niagara Falls Frenzy starter George Nelson was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Greenville 84s, 4-3. Niagara Falls reliever Mark Head picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Francisco Ríos was saddled with the loss. Esteban Juárez finished to wrap up his 26th save.
The most critical at-bat came in the top of the ninth inning. With two out, Zander Tremblett hit a 0-1 curveball from Francisco Ríos for a run-scoring single. It put Niagara Falls in front, 4-3.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Greenville manager Shihi Kamida, "let me know."
Niagara Falls is now 61-74, Greenville 89-45.
