Bush Fires Shutout in Pocatello Victory
Kevin Bush of the Pocatello Boccabellas spun his magic on the San Francisco Bandits today. He blanked them 7-0 on 1 hit, registering 17 strikeouts and no walks.

"The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Bush said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down."

Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, Pocatello skipper Danny Lombardi said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations."

"Kevin pitched really well but this was a solid performance by everyone," he said.

Bush has made 28 starts this season, posting 19 wins and 4 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .212 against him and he has 241 strikeouts in 211 innings with a 1.96 ERA.
