Austin and San Francisco met at Greendale Community Field in front of a lively crowd.

In a tight game between the Austin River Sharks and the San Francisco Bandits, pitcher Francisco Pérez was terrific on the mound. The Austin left-hander was named the player of the game in Austin's 3-0 win. Picking up the save was Tatsuzo Harada, his 3rd.

Pérez allowed no runs over 7.2 innings. He also racked up 10 strikeouts.

"Francisco's stuff was electric," said Austin manager Dave Anderson.

With the win, the River Sharks improved to 38-79.
