Hitmen Lose Again, 10-1, to Beavers
|
Baffin Island starter Thierry Garneau kept the Hendersonville hitters in check, helping his team cruise to a 10-1 win. The losses continue to mount for Hendersonville, which has now dropped 6 in a row.
In the bottom of the 2nd, the Beavers grabbed the lead on a two-out single by Chris Bates. Baffin Island at the time was trailing 1-0, but Bates's 2-run single off Carlos Hernández put his team in front.
Hendersonville manager César Martínez called the blowout loss "ugly."
