Wheeler Now 13-4 After Subduing Steeldogs

The rain came, as predicted, but the St Charles Sheens and Birmingham Steeldogs were able to complete their ballgame.
The St Charles Sheens got a magnificent effort from pitcher Oscar Wheeler, who kept Birmingham hitters in check en route to a 3-0 Sheens win at Crown Royal Stadium. Juan Rivera finished to wrap up his 21st save.
Wheeler, who was born in Deerfield Beach, Florida, threw 113 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing no earned runs.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Wheeler.
The 'W' lifts St Charles's record to 55-50.
