Frenzy Prevail, 5-3, Over St Charles

The Frenzy had to overcome a fine effort from St Charles pitcher Sang-joon Pak to grab a narrow 5-3 win at Crown Royal Stadium. Pak went 6 innings and allowed no earned runs. Niagara Falls starter Manuel Rodríguez was credited with the win after throwing 99 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 4-10. Esteban Juárez got credit for the save for Niagara Falls. It was his 21st of the year.
Niagara Falls took control in the top of the seventh. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Zander Tremblett hit a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Frenzy.
"There's still time to turn this season around," said Tremblett.
St Charles's current losing streak is now 4 games.
