The New Orleans Looters racked up a win at The Bayou at Heineken Field, bumping off the San Francisco Bandits, 5-2. Marty Bradford, who started for New Orleans, pitched effectively for his team. Juan Méndez earned the save for New Orleans, his 27th of the year. San Francisco is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.
Also having an impact was center fielder Rubén Vázquez, who stroked a 2-run single in the bottom of the fourth for New Orleans. For the game, Vázquez was 1 for 3, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Everything felt in sync," said Bradford.
