Seattle Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in Divisional Round
Riding the 4-hit performance of catcher Wallace Greene, the Seattle Pikes stopped the visiting Springfield Stars, 5-4, in Game 3 of the Divisional Round today. Greene was 4-4 with 4 singles for the Pikes, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

The Pikes took a 5-3 lead in the bottom of the sixth inning. Facing Springfield hurler José Valdéz with one out, Greene hit a run-scoring single.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Seattle manager Kevin Hickey.

Game 4 is set to be played on Saturday, October 16th, 2027 at Pikes' Point Stadium. The scheduled starters for the game are Anthony Erickson for the Stars and Marcos Benítez for the Pikes.
