New Orleans Wins at Home to Narrow Series Deficit to 2-1
Already down in the League Championship, the New Orleans Looters put on their best show, beating the Plymouth Rocks by a final score of 4-0 today. Chris Martin earned player of the game honors, as he threw 8 innings of shutout ball. New Orleans now trails Plymouth 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

Tied up with the Rocks in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Looters got a boost from first baseman Oliver Deleón. With a runner on 3rd, Deleón saw a full count fastball from José Martínez and hit a 2-run home run to break the stalemate and put New Orleans on top, 2-0.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Martin.

The next game is scheduled for Monday, October 25th, 2027 at The Bayou at Heineken Field. The scheduled starters for the game are José Martínez for the Rocks and Marty Bradford for the Looters.
