The Houston Marshals beat the Austin River Sharks, 6-2, at Greendale Community Field. Houston center fielder Kent MacDulothe earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 2-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Pablo Cabral finished the game for Houston and earned his 1st save. At 7-4, the Marshals have played well so far.

Doing his part for Houston was first baseman José Rodríguez, who stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth. For the game, Rodríguez was 1 for 5.
