The Seattle Pikes and Austin River Sharks provided some drama at Pikes' Point Stadium.

The Seattle Pikes got a sterling performance from center fielder Roberto Lozano, but the River Sharks still prevailed, 6-5. Lozano was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. Austin reliever Ramón Estrada picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. David Hill shouldered the loss. Josh Graham earned his 7th save in 8 chances.

Pedro Zaragoza delivered for Austin in the top of the sixth. His 2-run home run off Seattle pitcher David Hill put Austin in front, 6-4.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Zaragoza said.

Even with the win, the River Sharks have a dismal 26-56 record.
