Bombers Continue Skid Thanks to MacDulothe, Marshals
|
The Houston Marshals thumped the Madison Bombers, 8-1, at Red Box Field. Kent MacDulothe was a big reason his team got the win. MacDulothe went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The win takes Houston to 6-4.
Houston grabbed the momentum in the top of the sixth, when MacDulothe, who is a three-time All-Star, hit a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Marshals out in front, 4-1.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Marshals manager Tom Lucott, "I like our chances."
