The Seattle Pikes faced a tough opponent in Pocatello pitcher Rod Adams, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Connie Mack Stadium by a final score of 3-2. Adams went 6 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. José Salinas earned the save for Seattle, his 3rd. The slumping Boccabellas have dropped 6 in a row.
António Ortega made it 3-2, Seattle, in the top of the eighth when he hit a run-scoring single. It was a big at-bat in the Pikes win.
