Seattle Pikes starter Marcos Benítez turned in an exceptional performance against the Pocatello Boccabellas at Connie Mack Stadium, resulting in a Seattle win, 4-1. Benítez got the win, improving to 15-13. He allowed 6 hits and walked 0 over 7 innings. Benítez allowed 1 earned run. Pocatello now has a 5-game losing streak.
Manuel Rico in the top of the sixth had a productive at-bat. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Pikes leading 2-1, the Seattle left fielder hit a run-scoring single.
