Pikes Stick Looters with 3-1 Loss
|
Seattle used a superb performance from starting pitcher Marcos Benítez to down the New Orleans Looters, 3-1. Cristián Escobar earned the save for Seattle, his 24th. Seattle has now won 5 straight.
Roberto Lozano was a prime factor in the win for the Pikes. In the top of the third with one out, the 22-year old center fielder hit a 2-run home run. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Marcos was Marcos," said Pikes manager Kevin Hickey. "We know what we'll get whenever he takes the mound."
