The San Francisco Bandits topped the Niagara Falls Frenzy, 5-1, in National League action at Bay View Park. The player of the game was San Francisco pitcher Esteban Peña. Fernando Llama got the save, his 1st in 1 chances. San Francisco goes to 48-104, Niagara Falls to 70-82.
José Sánchez was a key contributor to the win for the Bandits. In the bottom of the fifth with no one out, the light-hitting third baseman stroked a single to center. He went 3-4 with 3 singles.
