Sub League 2 Top Player Is Rodríguez
Monday, October 26th, 2026
The manager of the Palmyra Overlords said he thinks Jaime Rodríguez is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 20, but it will be hard to top the catcher's 2026 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Sub League 2 Most Valuable Player Award.
His winning campaign featured a .346 batting average and a .415 on-base percentage this year. In 56 games he piled up 81 hits, 14 doubles, 2 triples, 13 home runs, 58 RBIs and 57 runs scored.
José Ortega of the Palmyra Overlords finished second in voting, while Javier González of the Washington DC Hot Sauce finished third.
