Miller Tags Sting Rays for 5 Hits
Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026
Ken Miller told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what Miller of the Roy Eagle Squadron did against the Elkins Sting Rays. He went to the plate 5 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, much to the chagrin of the Sting Rays, who suffered a 12-0 defeat. "Not much that I can say," offered the losing manager, "he just hammered the heck out of us." Ken Miller doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
So far on the season Miller is hitting .311 with 2 home runs, 30 RBIs and 27 runs scored. He has 64 hits and played in 60 games.
