Commoners Stop González at 20 Sunday, September 6th, 2026 Washington DC triumphed over Fort Collins today 11-10. However, that was not the whole story. Hot Sauce left fielder Javier González failed to get a hit for the first time in 20 games. González went hitless in 6 at-bats and had his streak broken. Commenting to reporters at his press conference, he said, "Some days the past few weeks I carried the club, today they carried me. No matter what, it is always good to win a ballgame."
