Overlords Alfaro Smacks 5 Hits Sunday, August 9th, 2026 Lúcio Alfaro exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Overlords Ballpark. The Palmyra second baseman had a field day in the 26-1 triumph over the Pueblo Prairie Dogs, finishing 5-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is pretty simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Well, Alfaro must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too. It was one of his best days ever with the bat. Lúcio Alfaro hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. This year Alfaro has hit no home runs and posted a .304 batting average. |
