Stevens Slaps 5 Hits Saturday, August 1st, 2026 Somedays you can't win for losing. Just ask Robert Stevens. He was the King of Swing in the game against the Voodoo, but his KO were beaten 12-9 anyway. The Long Beach catcher stepped into the batter's box 6 times against the Indian Hills and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. He excitedly told the press, "Unbelieveable feeling. It felt great on the one hand, but a downer at the same time. 5-for-6! It does wonders for your batting average. But it's a shame we couldn't win it, too."
