Maize HS's Patterson to Miss 6 Months Friday, April 25th, 2025 Whether he wants it or not, Norbert Patterson of the Maize HS will be getting some R & R -- rest and relaxation. The starting pitcher was hurt in today's Maize HS-Pirates game while throwing a pitch. Team officials announced after the game that Patterson had suffered a torn back muscle and would be out of action for 6 months. In 5 starts this season, Patterson has recorded no wins and absorbed 2 losses. He has pitched 26.1 innings, allowed 27 hits, struck out 28 and has a 4.44 ERA. |
