Sunday, June 14th, 2026
He's in the early phase of his career, but this past season Bill Williams performed like a veteran on the hill for the Evans HS Knights and walked away with the High School CL Outstanding Pitcher Award in the process.
The 17-year-old Knights star fashioned a 5-1 won-loss record in 2026 with a 1.85 ERA. In 48.2 innings of work and 9 starts, Williams struck out 66 while giving up 36 hits and 13 walks. He held opposing batters to a .201 average.
Junior Pineault of the H.H. Dow HS Chargers finished second in voting, while Clarence Gill of the Masconomet HS Chieftans finished third.
