Super Swinger -- Green Slams 5 Hits Wednesday, May 13th, 2026 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-6 day. It might come around only once in a career -- a lot of players never have one -- but George Green got one today. He scattered hits all over Ballpark of The Hills HS to pace Broken Arrow HS to a 15-5 victory over Mountain Pointe HS. The Mountain Pointe HS skipper told reporters in the press room, "Tip your hat to him. He hit some good pitches. According to the scouting report, Green hit several that he is not supposed to hit." George Green grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Carl Brady in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and singled in the 9th. For the season Green is batting .325 with 55 hits and 15 home runs. He has scored 43 times and batted in 43. |
