Jacob Wallace to Miss 5 Months Friday, May 8th, 2026 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Bishop Verot HS when after today's game against the Raiders, the club found out they would be without the services of Jacob Wallace for at least 5 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Wallace was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered a partially torn labrum. To date, Wallace has 7 saves. In 19 relief appearances he has tossed 19.1 innings, fanned 20 and given up 21 walks with 1 win and 1 loss. The Bishop Verot HS reliever has recorded a 8.38 ERA and allowed the opposition to hit .304 when he on the mound. |
