Swamp Bats Michael Bailey Sidelined Friday, May 8th, 2026 Jackson HS reliever Michael Bailey left today's game with bone chips in his elbow. The injury looked like it occurred throwing a pitch in the game against Oceanside HS. One fan said, "As soon as it happened, you could tell something was wrong." The injury will likely leave the Swamp Bats without Bailey for about 6 months. Taking a look at his season, Bailey has made 17 relief appearances, recorded 1 save and compiled a 0-6 won-lost mark and a 6.85 ERA. In pitching 22.1 innings, he has totaled 25 strikeouts and 24 walks. |
