Mountain Pointe HS Reliever Ferrer Injured Friday, May 1st, 2026 Mountain Pointe HS reliever Ángel Ferrer left yesterday's game against the Oliver Ames HS Tigers after suffering a torn labrum throwing a pitch. Ferrer was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Ferrer is expected to miss 15 months. So far this year Ferrer has been credited with no saves, registered a 9.72 ERA and struck out 20 in 16.2 innings. He also has a 0-1 record. |
