Maris School Loses Michael Clay
Wednesday, April 29th, 2026
The Maris School will have to make do without Michael Clay for 16-17 months. He suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Billings West HS Golden Bears. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the starting pitcher. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back."
Over the season Clay has thrown 30.1 innings and dished out 42 strikeouts with a 2-1 mark and a 1.19 ERA.
