After the game, the team's medical staff said that the 16-year-old reliever had suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. It's estimated that he will be out 10 months. To date this year, he has registered no saves, 2 wins and no losses with a 4.50 ERA. Ramírez has made 11 relief appearances, worked a total of 18 innings and surrendered 12 hits.
