Dublin Jerome HS's Woodside Down with Injury Saturday, April 25th, 2026 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Celtics when after today's game against the Bishop Amat HS, the club found out they would be without the services of Kelly Woodside for at least 11-12 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Woodside was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. On his stats sheet for the year Woodside shows a 1-0 record, 2 starts, 14.2 innings, 22 strikeouts and a 4.30 ERA. |
