Hit Streak Over, Rifles Stop Hall Tuesday, April 14th, 2026 Bishop Verot HS triumphed over Indianapolis HS today 8-6. However, that was not the whole story. Bishop Verot HS center fielder Jim Hall failed to get a hit for the first time in 29 games. Hall went hitless in 5 at-bats and had his streak broken. Commenting to reporters at his press conference, he said, "Some days the past few weeks I carried the club, today they carried me. No matter what, it is always good to win a ballgame." In 13 games this season Hall is batting .359 with 23 hits and 4 home runs. He has scored 17 runs and driven in 14. |
