Harris Ups Hit Streak to 32 Consecutive Games

The Georgia Bulldogs stopped the Maryland Terrapins today 4-3 and Nick Harris was able to hit safely again. The Georgia center fielder got 2 hits and ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 32.
Harris was excited after the victory and told the press, "I want to get a hit every time up. I want to get a hit every game I play. I want to win every game for the greatest fans in the world, Bulldogs fans!" Nick Harris singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Mike Church in the 10th.
Harris is batting at a .407 pace this season, picking up 68 hits in 167 at-bats with 7 home runs, 30 RBIs and 44 runs scored.
