Injury Forces Tom Nixon Out Monday, May 19th, 2025 Tom Nixon of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets could be headed for the disabled list after suffering a torn rotator cuff in a game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He is expected to miss at least 6 months. The Georgia Tech reliever was injured throwing a pitch. So far this year Nixon has been credited with no saves, registered a 7.58 ERA and struck out 33 in 29.2 innings. He also has a 2-1 record. |
