Pedro Jiménez Out for 5 Months Saturday, May 17th, 2025 The Seton Hall Pirates will lose the services of starting pitcher Pedro Jiménez after he sustained a torn triceps while throwing a pitch in today's game against the Cincinnati Bearcats. "I'll get through it," Jiménez said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 5 months. Jiménez has made 9 starts so far this year and put up a 0-4 won-lost record with a 7.12 ERA. In 36.2 innings he has allowed 50 hits, walked 28 and struck out 30. |
